Here are some moles that I have come across on television and
in books. Some are more famous than others, and this page just keeps
growing as people point out ones that I am missing - keep them
coming!
On to the pictures - click on the thumbnail to see the larger
version, then use the back button on your browser to return to this page. Only
those with a frame are thumbnailed.
Ok these are new to me - and I have my children to thank for
their inclusion! They are of course Pokémon moles - on
the left Diglett and on the right Dugtrio - who apparently evolve from Diglett
(and multiply it seems! Don't ask me....)

Mole from the Percy the Park Keeper

Hans Moleman from The Simpsons

You really need to click on this thumbnail to see the
moles! I found them on a card made by Fine Art Graphics. Cute or
what!!

Another personal favourite - Digsby - at last a mole with a
proper name, drawn by Kate Veale. He features in her books centered
around Oliver Otter and Friends. I included Oliver Otter and friends in
the right hand pic especially for you, Lynne!
Well this is a cheat really! Mole designed by Brains
in Thunderbirds - yes I have a sense of humour!

Eeny Miney Mole drawn by Geoffrey Chase

These beautiful pictures are taken from the book (right)
Moles Can Dance by Richard Edwards - the detail in the illustrations by
Caroline Anstey is amazing! If you click on no other thumbnail make sure
you click on these!

From the children's book Molly In Danger by Anne Carter
illustrations by John Butler. Isn't she gorgeous!

My friend Maarja from Estonia kindly sent me these pictures
of a mole that is on TV there - called "mole" surprisingly enough.

This little chap, Krtek, was brought to my attention by
Geert Van Doorselaere who very kindly sent me these pictures. On my
original web page I had a photo of Krtek but I didn't know his name.
